Jorakuen is a recreation of a traditional Japanese garden from the 14th to 16th centuries. During spring, you can see the cherry blossoms bloom in April, rhododendrons and a variety of irises in May. In autumn, the leaves of the maples and flowers of the ‘hagi’ (Japanese clover) bring some fall colors to the garden. Jorakuen really highlights the beauty of the four seasons in Japan.
